# Engagement with Program

> Program engagement level codes for Ascent surveys

**Field format:** `9(2)` -- two-digit numeric string
**Valid values:** `01`-`06`

| Code | Level |
| - | - |
| `01` | Full Engagement -- Individual is participating fully in all requested activities based on their choosing |
| `02` | Moderate Engagement -- Individual is participating in a fair number of requested activities based on their choosing |
| `03` | Low Engagement -- Individual is participating in a low number of requested activities based on their choosing |
| `04` | No Engagement -- Individual has expressed willingness to participate in services (at intake or via assertive outreach), with no engagement in Ascent activities |
| `05` | Refusal -- Individual actively refuses offered services |
| `06` | Unable to Engage -- Individual is unable to engage in services due to factors outside of their control. These could include being hospitalized/inpatient for most of the quarter, being incarcerated, or unhoused without a consistent means of communication |
