# Personal Safety

> Personal safety and abuse incident codes for Special Connections

**Field format:** `9(2)` -- two-digit numeric string
**Valid values:** `01`-`03`

| Code | Status |
| - | - |
| `01` | No incidents of emotional, verbal, or physical abuse between the beginning of pregnancy and now |
| `02` | One to two incidents of emotional, verbal or physical abuse between the beginning of pregnancy and now |
| `03` | Three or more incidents of emotional, verbal or physical abuse between the beginning of the pregnancy and now |
