DUI pass-through codes are retained for backward compatibility and data conversion. BHASOs do not actively collect these.

The ASAM Level of Care must be consistent with the Admission’s Service Identifier and must also match the LADDERS Provider/Clinic’s registered ASAM Level of Care.

ASAM Level of Care is required for all non-DUI SUD services. It is not required for DUI-only admissions.
